Teleglobe Chooses Tekelec Platform

Tekelec, which develops products for telecom networks, said this week that Teleglobe is using its signaling platform to deliver international voice and mobile communication services.

Teleglobe’s network reaches more than 240 countries. It has deployed the Tekelec EAGLE 5 Signaling Application System (SAS), which supports enhanced signaling services for mobility management, offers signaling interconnections over IP networks and supports immediate growth requirements.

"Our professional service team quickly migrated Teleglobe to the Tekelec EAGLE 5 SAS with no interruption to service delivery, preserving its high standards of customer service,” says Monty Johnson, president and general manager of Tekelec's Network Signaling Group.
