CompTel/ASCENT Show to Focus on Hot Industry Issues

CompTel/ASCENT has a lot on its plate for the upcoming Spring 2005 Convention & Expo. The association will present seminars on IP networking, new competitive communications business models and strategies for serving various customer segments in tandem with special workshops on VoIP and the anticipated Telecom Act rewrite.

The show, set for Feb. 14-17 in New Orleans, also will feature a number of concurrent sessions, with tracks hosted by Cisco Systems Inc. and the International Packet Communications Consortium. The final day of the convention and expo will feature a half-day workshop on regulatory issues and trends hosted by the law firm Dickstein Shapiro Morin & Oshinsky LLP.

CompTel/ASCENT organizers have lined up a number of industry experts and professionals to speak at the convention.
