Cox Expands Retail Channel

Cox Communications Inc. is expanding retail availability of its cable modem service.

The cable company’s high-speed Internet service is now available at nearly 70 Wireless Retail store-in-a-store locations in Sam's Clubs, BJ's Wholesale Clubs, Menards and other major retailers located in Cox markets. Wireless Retail Inc. is the nation's largest provider of outsourced retail sales solutions for service based consumer electronic products.

Under terms of the deal, WRI will initially sell Cox high-speed Internet with possible plans to include Cox's video and telephony

services at a later date.
