SBC Communications Inc. and Yahoo! Plan to provide small business customers with co-branded, customized DSL and dial-up services, premium Yahoo! services and other solutions.
The two companies initially allied last November. Through the companies initial agreement, which focused on consumers, SBC and Yahoo! expect to roll out co-branded Internet services to consumers over the next few months.
The newly announced small business services are expected to launch early next year. The co-branded DSL and dial-up small business offerings will include customized services, applications and capabilities, including many optimized for broadband, that employ the Internet in an effort to improve productivity.
SBC Yahoo! small business DSL and dial-up subscribers will receive a special, premium version of Yahoo! which will include a package of Yahoo! small business services, such as business class email, Ad Manager (a self-service advertising solution), Business Express (consideration to become part of the highly-visited Yahoo! directory), and finance reporting packages.
