BeVocal Introduces Platform for Enhanced Services

BeVocal Inc. (www.bevocal.com) debuted its BeVocal Foundation Platform, which is an in-network solution that allows carriers to create and deliver next-gen enhanced services for retrieving information, managing messages and conducting transactions.

The platform consists of five “nodes” that can be physically deployed at a central site, or distributed among multiple sites within the network. The five nodes include:

* BeVocal Speech Node, which provides telephony interfaces and processing resources for speech recognition, text-to-speech, and voiceprint verification;

* BeVocal Application Node, which runs voice applications created by BeVocal or third-party developers;

* BeVocal Service Creation Node, which provides advanced tools and resources for building, testing and deploying voice applications;

* BeVocal Administrative Node, which offers reporting and monitoring capabilities for operations, administration and maintenance of deployed voice systems and software; and

* BeVocal Site Integration Node, which interfaces to back-end systems for billing, rating, provisioning, location/presence, content and user profiles.

The BeVocal Foundation Platform is in trials with select carriers. Pricing information is available directly from the company.
