MySpace Hires Former Facebook Exec as New CEO
04/24/2009
It didn’t take long for News Corp. to name a new CEO at its social networking site, MySpace. Former Facebook chief operating officer Owen Van Natta will take the reins. Earlier this week, News Corp. said the founders of MySpace would be stepping aside as part of a move to better monetize the site. Former MySpace president Tom Anderson is taking a different position within the company. Van Natta has been heavily involved in the money-making sides of both Facebook and Microsoft in past jobs.
