Stephenson Assumes Head Post at AT&T

Randall Stephenson officially became CEO and chairman of the board of AT&T Inc. on Sunday.

Stephenson, 47, succeeded Ed Whitacre, who announced his retirement in April.

“We are focused on developing innovative ways to meet our customers’ communications needs while providing the best, most reliable and easiest service possible,” Stephenson said in a news release.
