COMPTEL Elects New Board of Directors

Members of COMPTEL will elect their 2007-08 board of directors today following the annual membership meeting at 10 a.m. Sixteen of the 27 seats are up for grabs; nominees for the positions were not disclosed.

COMPTEL members will vote for five directors in the small company member category, five directors from among the medium company member category and six directors in the large company member category. Directors serve two-year terms.

The elections for small company members, which include companies with annual revenue less than $25 million, will be held in Grapevine A at the Gaylord Texan. The vote for medium company members, which includes companies with annual revenue between $25 million and $300 million, will be held in Grapevine B. The ballot for large company members, which includes companies with annual revenue greater than $300 million, will be held in Grapevine D.

The new board will meet tomorrow to select a chairman, two vice chairmen, a treasurer and the executive committee.
