Confirmed: Verizon to Launch Netbook This Weekend

Verizon Wireless confirmed Thursday that it will indeed sell the HP Mini 1151NR netbook beginning May 17.

As previously reported, the netbook will cost $200 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year data contract. Plans are available at $40 per month with 250 megabytes of data and a 10-cent-per-megabyte overage rate, or for $60 per month for 5GB of data and a 5 cent-per-megabyte overage. A DayPass is available for $15.
